Terms and Conditions for Hiring The Wild Hive Dome and The Bothy

Booking and Deposit

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance (100% of the fee) must be paid at least three weeks (21 days) prior to the event.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellation less than three weeks before the event will forfeit the remaining balance.

  • We reserve the right to cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case all payments will be refunded.

Facilitators’ Qualifications, Insurance, and First Aid

  • All facilitators must hold valid qualifications relevant to their activity.

  • All facilitators must have appropriate public liability and professional insurance. Proof may be requested prior to the event.

  • All facilitators must hold a valid first aid certificate and be able to respond to emergencies.

Use of Space

  • The space must be used only for the agreed activities.

  • Clients are responsible for leaving indoor and outdoor spaces, including fire pits and equipment, in good condition.

  • Use of equipment, furniture, or outdoor areas must be agreed in advance.

  • Candles are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.

Refreshments and Catering

  • Any catering or refreshments must be agreed with the farm beforehand.

  • Guests may bring their own food or beverages only with prior consent.

Health, Safety, and Liability

  • All events must comply with current UK health and safety regulations.

  • The farm is not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss of property. Participants attend at their own risk.

  • Clients must ensure participants are aware of potential hazards on a working farm.

Facilitator Responsibility

  • All facilitators hiring the event space are fully responsible for the safety, behaviour, and wellbeing of their clients or participants during the event.

  • Facilitators must ensure that all participants are made aware of and agree to comply with the farm’s Terms and Conditions, including health and safety rules, the “no candles” policy, and any site-specific instructions.

  • The farm accepts no liability for participants’ actions, injuries, or loss of property; responsibility rests solely with the facilitator or organiser hiring the space.

Noise levels and Music

  • Noise levels must not exceed a Noise Rating of 35 at any time to ensure minimal disturbance to the surrounding farm, wildlife, and neighbours.

  • No amplified music, speakers, or live music is permitted outside the designated indoor event spaces.

  • The farm reserves the right to request immediate reduction of noise or cessation of outdoor music if the noise policy is breached.

General

  • The farm reserves the right to amend these terms with reasonable notice.

  • By booking, clients accept these terms and confirm compliance with all requirements.
